The next attestation of doctoral and dissertation candidates for Doctor of Sciences and Ph.D. degrees was held at the Institute of Biophysics

On October 15, 2025, the next attestation of doctoral and dissertation candidates for Doctor of Sciences and Ph.D. degrees was held at the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Attestation Commission, Doctor of Biological Sciences Karim Guli oglu Gasimov, who welcomed the participants and provided information about the purpose and objectives of the attestation.

In his speech, he emphasized the importance of conducting scientific research at a high level at the institute, increasing the efficiency of the scientific activities of doctoral and dissertation candidates, and ensuring that the results obtained contribute to the scientific development of the country. Karim Gasimov highlighted the need to pay special attention to the quality of scientific staff training and stressed the importance of integrating young researchers into the international scientific community.

Afterwards, part-time doctoral candidates for the Doctor of Sciences degree — Ph.D., Associate Professor Taleh Yusifov, Ph.D. Leylakhanim Malikova, Ph.D., Associate Professor Ruhiyya Guliyeva — as well as part-time doctoral candidate for the Ph.D. degree Narmina Jafar and dissertation candidate for the Ph.D. degree Sevil Rahmanova participated in the attestation and presented detailed reports on their scientific research.

After listening to the reports, discussing the results of the scientific research, and answering questions addressed to the doctoral candidates, the Attestation Commission made a final decision.

According to the decision, the attestation of the doctoral and dissertation candidates for the Doctor of Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy degrees at the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the year 2025 was deemed satisfactory.
