An employee of the Institute of Biophysics took part in the summer camp for young scientists in Tovuz

From September 2 to 8, 2023, with the organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), a "Summer School for Young Scientists" was held at the Olympic Sports Complex in Tovuz. Within the program of the school, young scientists participated in training sessions and seminars on various topics. At the same time, a scientific researcher in the Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry Laboratory of the Institute of Biophysics, Matanat Bakhishova, who is also the Chair of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists at the institute, participated as an instructor with the topic "Differences between healthy and cancer cell membranes and their role in the treatment of cancer diseases". The training was met with great interest, and scientific discussions were conducted around this topic.

The main goal of organizing the school was to facilitate interaction among young scientists and exchange of ideas for future projects. In addition, various intellectual and recreational games and sports competitions were held during the school to help young people effectively spend their leisure time.

At the end of the event, Matanat Bakhishova expressed her gratitude to everyone who participated in the organization, including the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, Elmir Babayev.
