A commemorative event dedicated to the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Institute of Biophysics under the Ministry of Education and Science of Azerbaijan.
First, the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was honored with a moment of silence.
The head of the Biophysics Institute and corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Oktay Gasimov, opened the event by stating that the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev has rendered invaluable services in the establishment of our independent state. He noted that Heydar Aliyev's statement, "The day will come when the dear land of Karabakh, which is precious to us, will be liberated from occupation. We cannot live without Shusha, Lachin, Agdam, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Gubadli, Zangilan, Kelbajar, those high mountains of Karabakh. Karabakh will be a blooming bud of independent Azerbaijan, and future generations will place the statues of Bulbul and Uzeyir Hajibeyov there," resonated with truth. The result of the balanced policy pursued by the Great Leader has become evident today.
