A ceremony was held to mark the 31st anniversary of the establishment of the Yasamal district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP).

According to Biophysics.az, citing Yap.org.az, the modern architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijan state, the National Leader of our people Heydar Aliyev's grave in the Alley of Honor was visited, and bouquets of flowers were laid in front of his grave.

The State Anthem was performed at the event. A minute of silence was observed in memory of the dear memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who laid down their lives for the independence and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.

Then a video presentation showcasing the 31 years of activity of the New Azerbaijan Party was displayed.

Speaking at the event, the head of the YAP Yasamal district organization, Bakhtiyar Nabiyev, first congratulated the participants of the event on the occasion of President Ilham Aliyev's next significant victory in the presidential elections. He noted the high voter turnout in the electoral districts of Yasamal on February 7.

Bakhtiyar Nabiyev then spoke about the establishment of the district organization, its activities over the past 31 years, and the services of the party's founder, the National Leader, to our people and state.

In their speeches, Isa Habibbayli, the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, a member of the Veterans Council of the party, Shahlar Asgarov from the "91s", Member of the National Assembly Elnur Allahverdiyev, and the head of the Yasamal District Executive Authority Elshad Hasanov emphasized that the New Azerbaijan Party created under the leadership of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev plays a significant role in the development of our country. They stated that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the President of the New Azerbaijan Party, the party has become not only the leading political force in our country but also in the region. The magnificence of the New Azerbaijan Party, which is the strongest and most independent political force in Azerbaijan, is evident in its representation of national interests. They affirmed that the glorious 31-year journey of the party confirms the solid foundation of the unity of the people and the government, which is unshakable and eternal. They stressed that every citizen of Azerbaijan supports the political course of the President of the New Azerbaijan Party, President Ilham Aliyev, on this path of rapid development of our independent state, and works tirelessly for the sake of the state and the people's interests.

Then, party members who actively participate in the socio-political life of the district organization, including Azad Abdurahimov, the first chairman of the YAP organization at the Institute of Biophysics, were presented with honorary decrees.

The event continued with the artistic part.

Finally, the Anthem of the New Azerbaijan Party was performed.
