The Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan announces a competition to fill the following vacancies

For the "Cell Signaling Mechanism" laboratory:

Head of the Laboratory - 1 position.

For the "Biophysics of Physico-Chemical Stress Factors" laboratory:

Head of the Laboratory - 1 position.

Candidates with extensive knowledge and experience in the transmission of biological signals, especially in ion channels, for the "Cell Signaling Mechanism" laboratory, as well as extensive knowledge in the biology of physico-chemical stress factors for the "Biophysics of Physico-Chemical Stress Factors" laboratory, are invited to participate in the competition. Candidates must be capable of proposing rational steps to address problems in these areas, hold a doctoral degree in science and have significant experience.

Candidates must prepare the future development concept of the laboratory they claim to lead and present it at the scientific council of the institute along with the documents.

Documents must be submitted to the following address within 1 (one) month from the date of publication of the announcement, in accordance with the requirements of the competition:

Candidates wishing to participate in the competition must submit an application to the head of the Institute of Biophysics. The following documents should be attached to the application:

1.     Copy of the candidate's identity card;

2.     Personal data sheet;

3.     Translation;

4.     Certified copy of the employment record book (except for newcomers to the workforce);

5.     Notarized copy of the document on higher education (master's degree and equivalent);

6.     Notarized copies of documents on academic degree (Ph.D) and academic title (Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences);

7.     Information on completed research and experimental-search works, as well as participation in scientific and scientific-technical projects, competitions, and programs;

8.     Copies of certificates of registration of intellectual property or patents;

9.     List of scientific works approved by the scientific secretary or organization of the institute.
