A reporting session on scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the Institute of Biophysics was held

On November 7, 2019, the regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics was held.

Opening the event, Director of the Institute of Biophysics, Corresponding Member of ANAS Professor Oktay Gasymov brought to the attention of Council members that, the event is dedicated to the annual report on the results of research work carried out in the scientific institution in 2019.

Then, deputy director on scientific affairs of İnstitute of Biophysics, Dr. Biology Karim Gasimov delivered the annual report of the institute for 2019. The scientist spoke about the work carried out at the institute, about the achievement reached in the research works and publishing activities. Speaking in connection with the important results of scientific research, K. Gasimov said that, in the current year, the scientific studies have been conducted on 5 stages, 5 works, 2 topics and 1 issue in the direction of “Physicochemical bases of biological systems”. He noted that during the current year, employees published 16 scientific papers – 2 articles (1 – in abroad), 14 theses (7 – in abroad).

At the end of the meeting, discussions were held about the report, proposals were heard and the annual report of the institute for 2019 was adopted.
