The enemy was given a decent response

While the whole world is fighting against one common enemy – COVID-19, once again Armenia does not hesitate to demonstrate its aggressive and terrorist intentions, and by its provocative actions grossly violates the fundamental norms and principles of international law continuing to encroach openly on sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Thus, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, starting from noon on July 12, 2020, the Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire in the direction of Tovuz region of the Azerbaijan-Armenian state border, and in order to exacerbate tensions, opened artillery fire on densely populated areas, taking attempt to attack. While preventing this provocation, the brave and courageous sons of Azerbaijan were heroically martyred.

However the blood of our martyrs was not go unrevenged. The enemy received a decent response and suffered significant losses of manpower and equipment.Currently, many countries around the world have shown support for our country, declaring that they will stand by Azerbaijan even in the most difficult times. The manifestation of friendship and solidarity by a number of countries at this sensitive moment has set another clear example of the correct foreign policy of the President of Azerbaijan.

In such a difficult time, all our citizens united and demonstrated their support for the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the Armed Forces, as well as their resolute protest against the insidious and cunning aggression of the enemy.

The staff of the Institute of Biophysics, as well as all the Azerbaijani people, are always ready for each call and order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
