Scientists in Russia and Bulgaria will increase the accuracy of optical diagnostics of skin cancer

Experts will develop a diagnostic device about the size of a shoebox so that doctors can take it with them when leaving. Scientists of the Samara University named after Koroleva and the Institute of Electronics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences will jointly develop a comprehensive method for optical non-invasive diagnostics of skin neoplasms, which will bring the accuracy of detection and classification of skin pathologies to the level of 95-98%, said on Tuesday the press service of the University.
