Institute of Biophysics held a meeting with a member of the editorial board of the “Science and Life” journal of ANAS

Head of the laboratory Ecological biophysics at the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, Dr. Biology, Prof. Tokay Huseynov met with the chief specialist of the Public Relations, Press and Information department of the Presidium of ANAS Sarvan Karimov.

During the meeting, T.Huseynov gave detailed information about the research work carried out in the laboratory and the results obtained. Professor noted that, as a result of successful research, the studies of the Institute’s employees against COVID-19 was included in the treatment protocol of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions.

Speaking about establishment history, responsible secretary of the journal Sarvan Karimov stated that, publishing since 1961 journal “Science and life” aims at popularizing Azerbaijan science and scientific knowledge.

At the end of the meeting, the sides exchanged views on opportunities for joint cooperation, the publication of scientific articles, and other issues. Sarvan Karimov expressed his desire to publish in the future issues of the scientific-popular journal “Science and Life” materials, scientific articles reflecting the results of research work carried out in the institute on modern directions of biophysics.
