An online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics was held

On April 16, 2021, an online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS was held.

Chairman of the Scientific Council, general director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Gasimov opened the meeting and informed Council members with the issues on the agenda. Professor Oktay Gasimov said that by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS dated April 06, 2021 a new composition of Scientific Council, consisting of 9 people, was approved. In that regard, he congratulated all members of Scientific  Council and wished them success.

At the online meeting, first of all, the results of the certification of doctoral students and dissertators, held on April 14, were discussed and approved. Then dissertations topics of doctoral students and dissertants accepted to the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS in accordance with the admission plan for doctoral students and dissertants for 2020/2021 were discussed and approved.

Then other issues on the agenda, including registration of researchers of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS in the National Information System “Scientific Personnel”, the state and further improvement biophysics.az web portal were also considered.

The head of the laboratory of the National Center of Oncology, Ph.D. in Biology Leila Melikova, head of the laboratory of the Institute of Biophysics, corresponding member of ANAS Ilham Shahmuradov and others took part in the discussions.
