An employee of the Institute of Biophysics made a report at the online International Scientific and Practical Conference

The V International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “Bioelements” dedicated to the memory of Professor V.A. Bondarenko and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of RUSTEM was held at the Institute of Bioelementology of Orenburg State University.

At the conference, the head of the laboratory “Ecological Biophysics” of the Institute of Biophysics, Dr. Biology, Professor Tokay Huseynov made a report on the topic “Concentration features of the oxidative interaction of sodium nitrite and sodium selenite in human erythrocytes”. The participants listened to the work report with great interest related to the essential role of selenium in the antioxidant protection of blood corpuscles and maintaining immunity in the body as a whole, carried out in the specified laboratory. After the speech he answered the questions of the participants from the leading scientific institutions of different countries.

The two-day conference ended with interesting scientific discussions and reports.
