In AMEA Biofizika Institute, the founding meeting of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) organization was held

On November 22, 2019, the founding meeting of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) organization was held at the AMEA Biofizika Institute. The meeting was attended by Tağı Əhmədov, the Chairman of the YAP Yasamal District Organization, Xədicə İsgəndərli, the Chairman of the YAP AMEA Organization, and institute employees.

The meeting was opened with a speech by the director of the institute, AMEA correspondent member, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Oktay Qasımov, who stated that the purpose of the meeting was to establish the YAP organization at the Biofizika Institute and to present the list of newly admitted members to the party.

Then, the Deputy Director for Innovation and Transfer of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine, Azad Əbdürrəhímov, presented the current party members and those wishing to join the party among the institute employees. With a unanimous decision from the participants, the first YAP organization was established at the institute, and Azad Əbdürrəhímov was elected as the chairman of the party organization, with the composition of the 5-member Management Board approved.

The meeting continued with a speech by Tağı Əhmədov, Chairman of the YAP Yasamal District Organization, who spoke about the history of the formation and development of YAP, emphasizing the words of the party’s founder, the great leader Heydar Aliyev: “The New Azerbaijan Party is a party of yesterday, today, and tomorrow,” which caught the attention of the participants.

At the end of the meeting, Tağı Əhmədov congratulated the newly established YAP team at the institute and wished them success in their future activities.
