Scientists from the Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy visited the AMEA Biofizika Institute

Scientists from the Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy, led by honored scientist, academician Bahadır Tağıyev, visited the Biofizika Institute.

The guests were accompanied by the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Biofizika Institute, Doctor of Biological Sciences Kərim Qasımov.

The guests first met with the director of the Institute, corresponding member of AMEA, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Oktay Qasımov.

During the meeting, O. Qasımov provided detailed information about the history of the institute, newly established modern laboratories, ongoing scientific research, and the achievements obtained. In addition, the prospects for cooperation in the field of science between the Biofizika Institute and the National Aviation Academy were discussed.

Later, the guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the laboratories created for the scientists' activities at the Institute. The computerized fluid injection device, developed by the Biofizika Institute's employees, aroused great interest among the guests.

At the end, the parties agreed on conducting joint research in the field of spectroscopy, particularly absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy.
