A report meeting on the results of the scientific and organizational activities of the AMEA Biofizika Institute in 2019 was held

On November 7, 2019, the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the AMEA Biofizika Institute was held.

Opening the meeting, the Director of the Biofizika Institute, Corresponding Member of AMEA, Professor Oktay Qasımov drew the attention of the Council members to the fact that the meeting was dedicated to the report on the scientific research work conducted in the scientific institution in 2019.

Then, the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Karim Qasımov presented the report on the scientific and organizational activities of the institution in 2019. In his speech, he provided detailed information about the scientific research conducted during the year, the important results obtained, and the publishing activities of the institute’s staff. He mentioned that in 2019, the institute carried out scientific research in 5 stages in the direction of "Physical-Chemical Fundamentals of Biological Systems" with 1 problem, 2 topics, and 5 tasks. Further, speaking about the publishing activity of the institute, the speaker noted that 16 scientific works, including 2 articles and 14 theses, were published this year. Among them, 1 article and 7 theses were published abroad.

At the end of the report, discussions were held, proposals were listened to, and the annual report of the institute for 2019 was accepted.
