The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the AMEA Biofizika Institute

On September 25, 2019, the next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the AMEA Biofizika Institute.

The following issues were discussed at the meeting:

1. Report by the Director of the Biofizika Institute, Prof. Oktay Qasımov, on his participation in the 63rd session of the International Atomic Energy Agency's General Conference held in Vienna from September 16-20.
2. Reports by the employees of the “Ecological Biofizika” Laboratory, Prof. Tokay Hüseynov, PhD Ruhiyyə Quliyeva, PhD Sevil Məhərrəmova, and Junior Researcher of the “Structure, Dynamics, and Functions of Biomolecules” Laboratory Arzu Aydımrova about their participation in the 6th Congress of Russian Biophysicists held in Sochi from September 16-21, 2019.
3. Discussion of upcoming tasks for the 2019/2020 academic year.
4. Discussion of the annual report.
5. Review and approval of dissertation topics presented for admission to the PhD and Doctoral programs at the Biofizika Institute for 2019.
6. Appointment of the head of the “Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry” Laboratory.
7. Discussion and planning of the scientific research work of the doctoral student, Khətirə Novruzəli qızı Şirinova, from the Department of Surgical Diseases of Azerbaijan Medical University at the “Ecological Biofizika” Laboratory of the AMEA Biofizika Institute.
