The employees of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS participated in the event "Science Week"

On March 11, 2019, the opening ceremony of "Science Week", dedicated to Science Day, was held at the High Technologies Park of ANAS. The event was attended by scientists and specialists from the scientific research institutes of ANAS, as well as students from higher education institutions.

During the event, Kərim Qasımov, Deputy Director for Scientific Work at the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, PhD in Biological Sciences, and Florida Mehraliyeva, the Institute's Scientific Secretary, PhD in Biological Sciences, gave presentations. The presentation emphasized that the main goal of the Institute is to conduct fundamental research in the field of biophysics related to human health, and for this purpose, priority scientific directions important for the development of science in Azerbaijan are selected. Information was also provided about the laboratories at the Institute and the scientific achievements achieved. It was noted that in the near future, the Institute plans to develop scientific fields such as oncology, immunology, electrophysiology, and the study of human body fluids for diagnostic purposes.

It should be noted that the event will continue until March 17. On the last day of the "Science Week", the results of the competition for the "Best Innovative Idea," "Best Innovative Project," and "Best Innovation Product" organized by YT Park will be announced, and the winners will be awarded.
