The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held

On March 7, 2019, the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS was held.

The meeting was opened by Professor Oktay Gasimov, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, who introduced the Council members to the issues on the agenda.

Regarding the first item on the agenda, Florida R. Mehraliyeva, the Scientific Secretary of the Institute, PhD in Biological Sciences, provided the Council members with information on the results of the attestation of senior scientific staff. After the results were approved by the members of the Council, the Council was informed about the creation of a joint laboratory between the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS and the National Oncology Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In his speech, Oktay Gasimov, the Chairperson of the Council, stated that discussions had already been held with the other party and an agreement had been reached.

After exchanging views on the discussed issues, the meeting was concluded.
