On February 19, 2019, the next seminar was held at the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS.

The seminar was opened by Professor Karim Gasimov, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute of Biophysics, Doctor of Biological Sciences, who provided information about the young researcher to the seminar participants.

Then, Elbey Akif oglu Melikmammadov, Junior Researcher at the "Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry" laboratory of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, presented a talk on the topic: "Modification of Wet-Spin Polycaprolactone Fibers for Controlled Drug Delivery, Improved Cell Adhesion, and Proliferation."

In his presentation, the young researcher provided information about the characterization of wet-spun polycaprolactone scaffolds and surface modification. He demonstrated the in vitro cell culture experiments through a slide presentation. According to him, these studies will serve as a model for the rapid healing of bone injuries and the future creation of an artificial bone system.

At the end of the presentation, a discussion on the topic took place, and questions were answered.
