On February 19, 2019, at 11:00 AM, a seminar will be held at the Institute of Biophysics seminar room (6th floor).

During the seminar, Elbey Akif oglu Melikmammadov, Junior Researcher at the "Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry" laboratory, will present a talk on the topic: "Modification of Wet-Spin Polycaprolactone Fibers for Controlled Drug Delivery, Improved Cell Adhesion, and Proliferation."

In his presentation, the young researcher will address the following topics:

• Chemical modifications in wet-spun polycaprolactone fibers;
• Characterization of wet-spun PCL scaffolds and surface modification;
• Immobilization of gelatin subunits and gelatin microspheres for cell adhesion and proliferation;
• In vitro cell culture experiments;
• Improvement of fiber cell capacity prepared by placing cell suspensions enhancing 3D microstructure into fibrin matrices.
