A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS and the Caspian University

On January 24, 2019, the Director of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Oktay Gasimov received the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Caspian University, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova.

Also present at the meeting were Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute of Biophysics, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Karim Gasimov, Director of the Institute of Oil and Chemical Processes, Full Member of ANAS, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Vagif Abbasov, and Genetics Specialist from the Department of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, PhD in Biology, Cavid Ocaqi.

The purpose of the meeting was to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions.

During the meeting, the possibility of conducting joint scientific exchanges between Caspian University and the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, as well as carrying out other collaborative projects, was discussed.

Professor Oktay Gasimov, the Director of the Institute of Biophysics, emphasized the importance of the memorandum and expressed his belief that this cooperation would contribute to expanding the relationships between the parties and achieving significant results.

Then, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Caspian University, expressed her satisfaction with the cooperation with the Institute of Biophysics and noted that the memorandum would not only expand the relations between the institutions but also contribute to the development of education and science.

At the end of the meeting, the memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two institutions. The document was signed by Professor Oktay Gasimov and Associate Professor Irada Khalilova.

The memorandum will facilitate mutual exchange of experience between the parties.

It was also planned to create a working group of experts to implement the agreements between the parties.
