The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics was held

A meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Biophysics.

The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held under the chairmanship of the General Director, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Oktay Qasimov.

During the meeting, the final stage of the XIV Republican Project Competition "Scientists of Tomorrow" was discussed. It was noted that 10th-grade students Leyla Alizade and Gulay Quluzade from the Bilasuvar Kindergarten-School-Lyceum Complex named after Mubariz Ibrahimov conducted research at the Institute of Biophysics under the supervision of Assoc. Sevinc Jafarova. As a result, they won first place in the Medicine and Health category and were awarded a gold medal.

The leadership of the Institute of Biophysics expressed gratitude to Sevinc Jafarova for her significant contribution to this achievement, acknowledging her professionalism and scientific mentorship in fostering young researchers. She was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation, and the institute highly valued both the scientific significance of the research conducted under her guidance and her support for young talents.

Additionally, the meeting discussed and approved, through voting, the examination questions for the Biophysics specialty as part of the PhD qualification exam in the field.

Furthermore, the letter No. 3-29-68/2-640/2025 dated March 18, 2025, from the State Agency for Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan was reviewed, and relevant decisions were made.

At the end of the meeting, several current issues were addressed and discussed.
