Scientists of the Institute of Biophysics participated in an international scientific conference in Georgia.

The Executive Director of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, Ph.D. in Biology Kərim Qasımov, and the Head of the Integrative Biology Laboratory, Corresponding Member of ANAS İlham Şahmuradov were on a scientific mission in Georgia from October 3 to 7.

The goal of the mission was to participate in the international scientific conference on the topic "COVID-19: Lessons Learned," organized by the European Union and the U.S. Department of State in Tbilisi, under the Central Asia and Caucasus Biosafety Association.

During the mission, the scientists also familiarized themselves with the activities of the NCDC/R. Lugar Center and held fruitful discussions regarding opportunities for cooperation in the field of scientific research.
