A seminar dedicated to the Day of Science was held at the Institute of Biophysics

A scientific seminar dedicated to the Day of Science was held at the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan.

The event began with a moment of silence to honor the victims of the March genocide and all the martyrs who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of our homeland.

Then, Ilham Shahmurodov, the head of the Integrative Biology Laboratory at the Institute and Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, presented his talk on the topic "What is the fundamental or practical significance of your scientific research? How would we answer this 'simple' question we often ask others?". In an open dialogue and engaging discussion format, the speaker provided numerous examples, offering detailed information about the types and characteristics of scientific research, its scientific-practical significance, and its components.

At the end of the seminar, the Director of the Institute, Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Oktay Gasanov emphasized the importance of regularly organizing such events and expressed his gratitude to Ilham Shahmurodov for the scientific presentation.
