The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Biophysics

The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was chaired by the Director General of the Institute, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Oktay Gasimov.

The agenda items of the meeting were widely discussed.

First, the issue of admission to doctoral studies for the PhD program, in accordance with the Resolution No. 275s of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 2, 2025, was considered. Based on the results of voting, it was decided that Fidan Rahim gizi Gudratova be admitted to the part-time doctoral program in the specialty of "Biophysics", and Alislam Ehtibar oglu Hashimov be admitted to the full-time doctoral program in the specialty of "Biochemistry."

The next item on the agenda concerned the research directions of doctoral candidates preparing for the Doctor of Sciences degree at the Institute. Taking into account the proposals and opinions of the participants, it was considered appropriate to make clarifications and partial changes to the dissertation topics of some doctoral candidates, and corresponding decisions were adopted.

At the end of the meeting, current issues were discussed. Proposals aimed at improving the efficiency of the Institute's scientific activities, enhancing organizational work, and determining future plans were put forward, and specific instructions were given for their implementation.
