On October 18, 2019, a scientific seminar titled "CRISPR Gene Editing and Future Perspectives" was held at the Institute of Biophysics.

The seminar was opened by the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute, Doctor of Biology Kərim Qasımov, who spoke about the significance of the topic and then gave the floor to Professor Dr. Saeed Kaboli from Zanjan University of Medical Sciences.

In his presentation, the speaker provided detailed information about CRISPR gene technology, its role in biotechnology, the history of the genome, gene editing, its versatility, and its role in medicine.

At the end of the presentation, a discussion was held, and questions were answered.
