ANAS and the University of Montpellier in France announce a joint PhD program

A joint PhD program is announced based on the Framework Agreement on Cooperation signed between the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and the University of Montpellier in France.

Candidates will be registered as PhD students at both ANAS and the University of Montpellier and will be assigned scientific supervisors from both institutions. According to the terms of the program, PhD students will spend 2 years at the University of Montpellier and 1 year at ANAS, after which they will be awarded PhD degrees from both Azerbaijan and France.

Applications are accepted until June 24, 2019, by the International Relations Department of the ANAS Presidium apparatus. Detailed information about the required documents and application forms can be obtained by contacting the International Relations Department.

– Development and application of bioinformatics tools for annotation of “dark” proteomes;

– Water confinement in single-wall carbon nanotubes: phase states and molecular dynamics.
