On June 9, 2023, the preliminary discussion of master's dissertations was held at the Institute of Biophysics under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the preliminary discussion, the master's students specializing in Biophysics, Aytac Orujova with a dissertation titled "Dynamics of serum ferritin in patients with iron-deficiency anemia vaccinated with Sinovac against SARS-CoV-2," and Ummi Umidli with a dissertation titled "Status of antioxidant systems in individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 infection," presented the main findings of their dissertation works. These students have successfully completed the theoretical and practical preparation in their curriculum and conducted their research effectively.
During the discussion, the committee members, Ph.D. K.G. Gasimov, Ph.D. I.A. Shahmuradov, Ph.D., Associate Professor R.B. Aslanov, Ph.D., Associate Professor S.A. Jafarov, Ph.D., Associate Professor R.T. Gulieva, and the head of the Department of Education and International Relations, Ph.D., Associate Professor H.N. Adigozelzade, expressed their opinions and suggestions on the presented dissertation topics.
Considering that the master's dissertations of the students fully comply with the requirements set by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Azerbaijan, they have been evaluated and recommended for submission to a specialized commission for the final defense of their master's dissertations.
