A competition called "Young Women in Science" is announced at ANAS

Based on the Decree of the President of ANAS, dated February 5, 2019, the "Young Women in Science" competition is announced for the young women scientists of ANAS.

The goal of the competition is to stimulate the scientific activities of young women who conduct research on current and modern issues in areas of priority for Azerbaijan and to increase the role of women in the development of science.

Women scientists of ANAS aged 35 and below, nominated by the full and corresponding members of ANAS or scientific councils of the scientific institutions of the Academy, can participate in the competition.

To participate, the following documents must be submitted to the Main Directorate of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS by March 1, 2019:

• Application addressed to the President of ANAS;
• Nomination letter, including detailed information about the candidate and her scientific achievements;
• List of scientific works in the approved format;
• Copies of documents related to participation in scientific events, competitions, etc.;
• Personal information (form attached).

The winners will be awarded as follows:

– 1st place – 3000 manat;
– 2nd place – 2000 manat;
– 3rd place – 1500 manat.

The results of the competition will be announced on Science Day (March 27).
