The Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences has announced the "Master-2019" competition

Based on the Decree of the President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh, the "Master-2019" competition is announced at the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

The main goal of the competition is to further improve the master's education at ANAS, support the scientific achievements and creative potential of the master's students, and motivate talented young people who distinguish themselves with their intelligence and skills to achieve high results in education and science.

The competition is open to students enrolled in the master's program at ANAS. At the end of the competition, the top three master's students with the highest scores will be awarded. The awards will be distributed as follows with the respective diplomas:

– 1st place – 1500 manat;
– 2nd place – 1000 manat;
– 3rd place – 500 manat.

To participate, the master's students must fill out the application form (Appendix 1) in the prescribed manner (the application must be signed by the head of the education department and the scientific secretary of the relevant institute), submit it with the cover letter from the institute's director, and present it to the Main Directorate of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS by February 25, 2019.

The applications should be filled out in Arial 12 font with 1-line spacing. If relevant information is not available, the respective section should be left blank. Applications should be submitted in both electronic format (on a disk) and paper form.
