An event was held at the Institute of Biophysics on the occasion of November 8 - Victory Day

An event was held at the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of November 8 - Victory Day.

First, the souls of our martyrs who died for our lands were remembered with a minute of silence.

The event was opened with an introductory speech by the Executive Director of the Institute, Ph.D. Karim Qasimov, who emphasized that November 8, celebrated as a glorious Victory Day in the golden letters of Azerbaijani history, is one of the most significant victories for the Azerbaijani people. He stated that this victory is a source of pride and honor for the Azerbaijani people and expressed heartfelt joy and tears of happiness in celebrating this victory. He also expressed gratitude to the victorious army, every officer, and soldier, on behalf of the institute.

Then, Aysel Aliyeva, a member of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council (YSSC) of the Institute and a researcher in the "Integrative Biology" laboratory, delivered a speech, highlighting the heroism and dedication shown by the army and the people during the Patriotic War, as well as the valor of our heroes during the war.

A special video presentation dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War and Victory Day was then showcased.

Finally, Rasim Aslanov, the Chairman of the Institute's Colleagues' Organization, expressed his gratitude to Aysel Aliyeva for her contribution to the event. He conveyed his wishes for a peaceful and secure future for Azerbaijan, with no more sacrifices and no more wars, in this beautiful celebration dedicated to the Azerbaijani people.
