A Women's Council has been established at the Institute of Biophysics

The founding meeting of the Women's Council was held at the Institute of Biophysics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

The event was opened by the director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Oktay Gasimov, who emphasized the significant role of women in public life and considered the establishment of the Women's Council at the Institute of Biophysics to be a meaningful initiative. He stated that the purpose of the meeting was to formally establish the Women's Council and elect its chairperson.

The head of the General Affairs Department, Esmər Rovshan qizi Mammadova, was nominated as the chairperson of the Women's Council.

The proposal was put to a vote and was unanimously approved. Additionally, a working committee consisting of six members was elected.

At the end of the meeting, the speakers expressed their best wishes for the success of the newly established Women's Council at the Institute of Biophysics.
