BDU Students Begin Industrial Internship at the Institute of Biophysics

A group of fourth-year students from the Faculty of Biology at Baku State University (BSU) has started an industrial internship at the Institute of Biophysics under the Ministry of Science and Education. This initiative is being carried out within the framework of long-term cooperation between BSU and the Institute of Biophysics.

On the first day of the internship, 13 students specializing in "Biology" were given detailed information about the structure of the institute, its main scientific activities, and the research conducted in its laboratories. They were introduced to the institute’s scientific staff and gained initial knowledge on key topics relevant to their future careers.

During the two-month internship program, students will be involved in ongoing scientific research at the institute, develop their practical skills in various laboratories, and apply their theoretical knowledge in real working conditions. Throughout this period, they will study the physical and molecular foundations of biological processes and gain hands-on experience using modern scientific methods.

It should be noted that the industrial internship will conclude in April.
