An informative seminar on the effective use of the SCOPUS scientific database will be held at the Institute of Biophysics

On December 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM, a informative seminar on the topic "Effective Use of the SCOPUS Database" will be held at the Institute of Biophysics AR MSE (Room 602).

The seminar is organized based on the "Scopus Certification Program" by Elsevier, with the aim of ensuring the effective use of the Scopus scientific database for scientific and higher education institutions under the Ministry of Science and Education.

During the seminar, there will be explanations on the use of the Scopus scientific database, the procedure for registration in the database, and the advantages of registration.

Additionally, the seminar will cover various aspects of using the Scopus database, including initial and advanced searches on articles, authors, sources, or research institutions, editing and refining search results, storing search history, setting up search alerts, and commenting on the storage of search results in various formats. The analysis of search results based on various criteria, the method of viewing references to and from the searched article, discovering and comparing journal rankings, and obtaining statistical information on authors, sources, or research institutions will also be demonstrated.

 Aynura Huseynova is a scientific researcher and an international relations specialist at the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after N. Tusi (SAO) under AR MSE. She is also the Chairperson of SAO SYSS.
