Teachers and students of School-Lyceum No. 20 visited the Institute of Biophysics

In accordance with the decree on measures for the development of education and science in the Republic of Azerbaijan, significant reforms and important steps have been taken in the field of education and science in schools and institutions listed in the MSE table.

Under the slogan "The first steps towards science should begin in school," the chief director of the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Azerbaijan Republic, corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences O.K. Gasimov, hosted the director of School-Lyceum No. 20 named after E.A.Agayev, honored teacher A.Huseynzade, and a group of teachers and students.

During the meeting, important steps taken in the direction of integrating science and education in the country were discussed, and there was an exchange of ideas about the efforts to increase the interest of talented youth in science. This year, a group of students from School-Lyceum No. 20 actively participated in experiments conducted in the institute's laboratories, and the issue of ensuring their participation in national and international competitions was highlighted. It was especially emphasized that this year the students of the school traditionally submitted three projects to the "Sabahın alimləri" competition, held annually in the republic in the direction of integrating science and education. O.K.Qasimov provided comprehensive information about the projects submitted to this competition, their relevance, degree of implementation, modern laboratories, and specialist scientists.

Later, a joint tour of the laboratories was conducted with the school's staff, and discussions were held about the work done by the students.
