Preliminary Discussion of Master's Dissertation Held at the Institute
On June 9, 2023, the preliminary discussion of dissertations by second-year master's students was held at the Biophysics Institute under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the preliminary discussion, master's students who had successfully completed the theoretical and practical training outlined in the curriculum and finalized their scientific research presented the main points of their dissertations: Aytaj Orucova, specializing in "Biophysics," with the topic “Dynamics of Ferritin in the Serum of Iron Deficiency Anemia Patients Vaccinated with ‘Sinovac’ Against SARS-CoV-2,” and Ummi Umidli, specializing in "Biophysics," with the topic “The Antioxidant System Condition in Individuals Who Recovered from COVID-19.”
The members of the commission and the Head of the Education Department, including Dr. Karim Gasimov, Dr. Ibrahim Shahmuradov, Ph.D. in Physics Rufat Aslanov, Ph.D. in Biology Sevda Jafarova, Ph.D. in Biology Rana Guliyeva, and Ph.D. in Agronomy Hamayil Adigozalzade, provided their remarks and recommendations regarding the topics.
Taking into account that the dissertations fully comply with the requirements set by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan for master's theses, the works were positively evaluated and recommended for submission to the Specialized Council for final defense.
