The report-election meeting of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute of Biophysics covering the years 2017-2023 was held

The joint meeting of the Association Committee of the Employees' Union of the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education covering the years 2017-2023 was held.

Sitara Bagırova, a member of the Presidency of the Free Association of Employees of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), the head of the Employees' Committee of the AR Institute of Physics, and a philosophy doctor in physics, participated in the meeting.

Rasim Aslanov, the chairman of the Institute of Biophysics's Employee Committee, and a docent, provided information on current issues. During the reporting period, he presented information on the amount collected from the salaries of the employees of the Institute of Biophysics, the amount spent on postage used by the employees, the amount spent on medical treatment for employees and the financial assistance provided to them, the amount spent on sports equipment for effective use of leisure time, the number of tickets for "New Year" celebrations and the value of coupons purchased from the "Bazarstore" company for "Novruz holiday". Additionally, he provided information on the funds allocated for support programs related to the II Karabakh War and transferred to the "YAŞAT" fund.

 R.B.Aslanov also discussed expenses related to the relaxation of employees, such as the expenditure on tickets to the "Dante's Jubilee" show at the Academic National Theater and the "Astro-tourism" services at the N. Tusi Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory during 2018-2023.

Then, together with the management of the Institute of Biophysics, he talked about the events and seminars dedicated to the memory of the "Bloody January 20" martyrs, the "COVID19" pandemic, the II Karabakh War, the "Victory Day", and the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

Finally, the director of the institute, a corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Oktay Qasimov, concluded his speech by stating that the work done by Rasim Aslanov, the chairman of the Employees' Union, during 2018-2023, is positively evaluated and satisfactory.

Prof. Oktay Qasimov mentioned that the Committee members of the New Employees Organization will be composed of young professionals this year, unlike previous years.

In the end, through a voting process, docent Rasim Aslanov was re-elected as the chairman of the organization. The composition of the new Management Board of the Employees' Committee was also finalized.

6 people (docent Rasim Aslanov - chairman, engineer Aytac Mammadova, j.r. Sevil Mehdiyeva, j.r. Gunay Aliyeva, j.r. Banu Agamaliyeva, j.r. Aysel Aliyeva) were elected as committee members. 3 people (accountant Lamiya Amirova - chairman, senior specialist Sudaba Salimova, personnel specialist Konul Aslanova - members) were appointed to the inspection commission, and 2 people (docent Rasim Aslanov - chairman, j.r. Gunay Aliyeva - member) were appointed as conference representatives. Their names were read out, and they were unanimously approved by the vote.
