A scientific seminar will be held at the Institute of Biophysics

On April 1, 2024, at 14:30, a scientific seminar dedicated to the "Science Day" of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be held at the Institute of Biophysics on the topic "EPR Method in Biological Research. Characterization of Cell Membrane in Healthy and Carcinoma Human Lungs Using EPR Method". The speaker at the seminar will be Matanat Bakhishova, a scientific researcher at the Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry Laboratory.

Short information:

The seminar will provide general information on electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrometry and its operating principle, as well as its application in medicine and biology.

In addition, research on spin-labeled healthy and diseased (carcinoma) epithelial cell membranes using the EPR method, the obtained results, and their practical significance will be discussed.
