An event dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Institute of Biophysics

Oktay Gasimov, the general director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS, who opened the event with his opening speech, spoke about the multifaceted activities of the great leader Heydar Aliyev. He expressed his respect for the genius of Heydar Aliyev and emphasized that his leadership and visionary policy left deep traces in the development of Azerbaijan. During Heydar Aliyev's time, he pointed out the great development and modernization in energy carriers, economy and infrastructure in Azerbaijan, and emphasized that the country has succeeded in playing a stronger and more responsible role in the international arena. Emphasizing Heydar Aliyev's successes in domestic and foreign policy and high results in the field of diplomacy, he emphasized that Azerbaijan established a respectable place on the world stage with its independent political will and strong leadership.

Then Banu Agamaliyeva, a junior researcher of the Institute's Molecular and Cell Biochemistry Laboratory, gave a speech and talked about the achievements in the scientific field under the leadership of the Great Leader. He emphasized that Heydar Aliyev's activities in the direction of supporting and developing scientific research and strengthening international relations in the country had a great impact in the scientific field. He noted that scientific institutes, laboratories and universities were supported during his time, and wide opportunities were created for the development of scientific research. Thanks to Heydar Aliyev's initiative in various fields of science, the scientific activity and development of Azerbaijan in the international arena increased, and the country became more recognized in various scientific centers of the world.

Concluding the event, O. Gasimov emphasized that National leader Heydar Aliyev will never be forgotten. His will and foresight left an exceptional mark in the history of Azerbaijan and will always live in our hearts.
