The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics was held

At the meeting chaired by the Institute's Executive Director, corresponding member of the ANAS, Oktay Qasımov, the results of the competition for the vacant positions at the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held on April 19, 2024, and published in the "Elm" newspaper, were announced. According to the results, Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Assoc. Taleh Yusifov has been appointed to the position of head of the "Cell Signal Transduction" laboratory, and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Assoc. Sevinc Jafarova has been appointed to the position of head of the "Biophysics of physico-chemical stress factors" laboratory.

Then, the results of the attestation of Ph.D students and doctoral candidates of the Institute of Biophysics of AR MSE were confirmed.

It was discussed and approved to grant a postponement to Aida Mammadzadeh, Ph.D candidate of the AR MSE Institute of Biophysics.

2406.02 - The program of the Ph.D. exam in Biochemistry specialty was discussed and accepted at AR MSE Institute of Biophysics.

Then, the tasks of the half-yearly report for 2024 regarding the scientific and scientific-organizational activity of the laboratories under the AR MSE Biophysics Institute were discussed. Regarding the issue, the scientific secretary of the institute, Ph.D., Assoc. Florida Mehraliyeva gave a speech and informed the heads of the laboratory about the preparation of relevant reports by June 20, 2024.

In the end, the Regulation of the "Molecular and cellular biochemistry" laboratory of the AR MSE Biophysics Institute was discussed and accepted as the basis, and other laboratories were recommended to prepare it in this form.
