The upcoming tasks were discussed at the Institute of Biophysics

The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics was held.

The meeting was opened by the Director of the Institute, Chair of the Scientific Council, Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Oktay Gasanov, who presented the agenda to the council members.

First, a discussion took place on the upcoming tasks for the scientific institution in 2023. Speaking on the matter, O. Gasanov outlined the tasks and goals ahead, and provided recommendations to the laboratory heads on continuing the scientific research in priority areas.

Next, the comprehensive plan for the Institute of Biophysics' research activities for 2023, the work programs of the laboratories, and the annual activity plan of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council (YSSC) of the Institute were discussed and approved.

Additionally, the council members were informed about the organization and progress of the winter examination session for the 2022/23 academic year for graduate students in the "Biophysics" program.
