The memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was honored at the Institute of Biophysics

The Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, with the organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) core organization and the Women's Council, held an event dedicated to the 19th anniversary of the death of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

The event began with a moment of silence to honor the memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and those who sacrificed their lives in the battles for the territorial integrity of our country.

Opening the session, the Director of the Institute of Biophysics, Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Oktay Gasanov emphasized that studying, preserving, promoting, and applying the legacy of the great statesman Heydar Aliyev is an honorable duty for every Azerbaijani.

Then, the head of the Department of Document Management at the Institute, Chair of the Women's Council Esmer Mammadova, spoke in detail about the life and political activities of the great figure Heydar Aliyev, who contributed to the strengthening of Azerbaijan’s independence and the establishment of the army. She mentioned that it was through the visionary policies initiated by Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev that Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity was restored during the 44-day Patriotic War.

The Chair of the YAP core organization at the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine Azad Abdurahimov, stated that thanks to the tireless efforts and determination of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan has earned its rightful place on the global stage, and his political course continues with dignity under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
