A scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Biophysics
A distance scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, organized by the Department of Education and the Young Scientists and Specialists Council (YSSC).
The seminar, conducted on the Zoom platform, was opened by the Head of the Department of Education and International Relations of the Institute, Ph.D., Associate Professor Hemayil Adigozelzade, who emphasized the importance of holding scientific seminars for graduate students.
Next, Aytac Orucova, a second-year graduate student at the Institute, presented a talk on "The correlation between ferritin levels and oxidative processes in viral diseases." The young scientist provided detailed information on inflammatory markers in viral diseases, the role of iron in the body, iron-carrying proteins, the mechanism of oxidative processes, and the relationship between ferritin and oxidation, and then answered questions related to the topic.
