The memory of the martyrs of the Patriotic War was honored at the Institute of Biophysics

A commemoration event dedicated to September 27 - Remembrance Day was held at the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS.

The event was opened by the Director of the Institute, Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Oktay Gasanov, who expressed his condolences and prayed for the souls of our martyrs who gave their lives for the liberation of our lands and the historic victory. He invited the participants to observe a moment of silence to honor the memory of our heroes.

Later, a series of speeches were delivered by Ruhiyyə Quliyeva, Senior Researcher at the "Ecological Biophysics" Laboratory, Ph.D., Associate Professor; Esmer Məmmədova, Head of the Document Management Department and Chair of the Women's Council of the Institute; and Professor Tokay Hüseynov, Head of the "Ecological Biophysics" Laboratory. They discussed the mobilization of the society, the unity of the people, army, and state, the victories achieved, the heroism shown by our soldiers during the war, and expressed their deep respect for the soldiers and officers who sacrificed their lives for the Homeland
