Last meeting of the Scientific Council in the current year was held

The last meeting of the Scientific Council in the current year was held at the Institute of Biophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

The event was opened by the director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor Oktay Gasimov, who informed Council members with the issues on the agenda.

According to the agenda, was heard the report of associate professor Rasim  Bakhtiyar Aslanov, Ph.D. in physico-mathematical sciences, leading research scientist of the laboratory “Structure, dynamics and function of biomolecules”,  about his scientific trip to Turkey, Ankara from the 5^th to the 12^th of November 2018.

R. Aslanov spoke in detail about his researches. Then there was a discussion about the report and answered the questions. By decision of the Scientific Council, the report was approved.

Then, deputy director on scientific affairs of İnstitute of Biophysics, head of the laboratory “Molecular and cellular biochemistry”, the doctor of biological sciences Karim Gasimov gave information about scientific researches carried out at the institute, the projects implemented in the current year and works to be done. The report on the scientific and organizational activities of the institute was considered satisfactory.

At the end, some current issues were discussed.
