MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN
From the 17th to the 21st of December 2018, member of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, junior research scientist of the laboratory “Molecular and cellular biochemistry”, Elbay Akif Malikmamedov, by invitation of the Middle East Technical University, was on a scientific trip in Turkey, Ankara.
The purpose of the trip was to participate in research projects in the laboratory “Center for Excellence in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering”.
Within the framework of the scientific trip Elbay Malikmamedov held a number of meetings and exchanged views with Professor Vasif Hasırcı, Head of the Laboratory “Center for Excellence in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering” of the Middle East Technical University, and also met with the research work carried out in the laboratory.
The young scientist also delivered a speech at the scientific seminar organized at the Middle East Technical University on the topic “Research directions of the Institute of Biophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan”, and answered the questions of the seminar participants.
During the scientific trip, E.Malikmamedov duly presented the Institute of Biophysics and discussed the possibility of future mutual cooperation with the Middle East Technical University.
