“Open Door” day was held at the Institute of Biophysics

On October 25, 2019, “Open Door” day dedicated to the 75^th anniversary of ANAS was held at the Institute of Biophysics.

On the “Open Door” Day, employees informed the guests about the structure of the institute, the history of its activities, the main directions and international relations. In addition, guests visited the laboratories of the institute and were informed about the researches being carried out here with modern equipment.

Then, with the participation of guests a scientific seminar was held. At the seminar, leading research scientist of the laboratory ecological biophysics, Ph.D., Associate Professor Mursal Dadashov delivered a report on “Specific Fluorescence of Blood Plasma Proteins”. The scientist spoke about the specific fluorescence of plasma proteins (intrinsic fluorescence), their functional mechanisms, research paths, and future perspectives.

At the end of the event questions were answered.
