At the Institute of Biophysics the admission plan for doctoral and dissertation studies for 2022 were discussed

On October 15, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS was held.

The meeting was opened by the general director of the institute, a corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Gasimov, who informed the Council members about the issues on the agenda.

The first issue on the agenda of the meeting was related to the discussion of the admission plan for doctoral studies and dissertations for the preparation of doctors of philosophy and doctors of sciences for 2022. It was noted that in accordance with the admission plan for the next academic year, 1 candidate is planned to be accepted into the Ph.D. dissertation program.

Then the issue of continuing the training of doctoral students and dissertants accepted to the planned places allocated for the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS for the preparation of doctoral students and dissertants in the 2020/2021 academic year at ANAS was discussed. The chairman of the Scientific Council, professor Oktay Gasimov noted that this year the Department of Education was established at the Institute of Biophysics in order to further develop the activity of the scientific institution in the field of personnel training.

At the end, the decision of the Presidium of ANAS dated October 1, 2021, №17/30 “On reports on the results of scientific research conducted in 2021 at ANAS and other scientific and higher educational institutions of the Republic” was discussed and relevant instructions were given.
