At the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics a number of issues were discussed

On November 2, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS was held.

The meeting was opened by the general director of the institute, a corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Gasimov, who informed the Council members about the issues on the agenda.

At the meeting, the individual work plans of master students admitted to the Master’s program of the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS in the 2021/2022 academic year were discussed and approved.

Then senior researcher of the laboratory of “Ecological biophysics”, Ph.D. in biology Sevinj Jafarova, was nominated for the title of associate professor in the specialty of biophysics. Taking into account the skill of the mentioned employee, active work capacity, the Council members decided to raise a petition to the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for awarding her the academic title of associate professor.

At the end, some current issues were discussed.
