On December 16, 2021, the regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biophysics was held.

Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, the General Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Gasimov gave the floor to present a report on the results of scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the Institute of Biophysics for 2021 to Dr. Biology Karim Gasimov.

In his speech, K.Gasimov gave detailed information about the scientific research conducted at the scientific institution this year, important scientific results, international relations and grant projects of the institute, the work carried out in the direction of training scientific personnel. He noted that in 2021, the scientific studies have been conducted on 9 stages, 5 works, 2 topics and 1 issue in the direction of “Physicochemical bases of biological systems”. He noted that during the current year, employees published 19 scientific papers – 8 articles (6 – in abroad), 11 theses (7 – in abroad).

Then discussions were held about the report, proposals were heard and the annual report of the Institute for 2021 was adopted.

Summing up the meeting, Professor Oktay Gasimov satisfactorily assessed the scientific results and scientific organizational activities, gave his instructions and recommendations.
