The Institute of Biophysics hosted an event dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the birth of great leader Heydar Aliyev

At the Institute of Biophysics of ANAS, under the joint organization of the New Azerbaijan Party and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists an event dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held.

Opening the event with an introductory speech, the Director-General of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Gasimov spoke about the multifaceted activities of great leader Heydar Aliyev and his exceptional role in the development of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. He noted that during the entire period of his activity, national leader H.Aliyev attached great importance to science and education. He noted that during his reign, the foundation was laid for sending students to study abroad, and this policy is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

Then the chairman of the territorial party organization of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine Azad Abdurahimov spoke, about the improvement works carried out during the years of Heydar Aliyev, about the work done by him in the direction of building and strengthening independent Azerbaijan.

In other speeches, the life path and socio-political activities of Heydar Aliyev were also widely discussed.

At the end of the event, O.Gasimov stressed that National leader Heydar Aliyev will never be forgotten and his memory will always live in our hearts.
